Angelika Zecha
Angelika Zecha is the Research Coordinator for the Centre for the Study of Social and Legal Responses to Violence. Angelika completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in the Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy program at the University of Guelph. Her research work was funded by an Ontario Graduate Scholarship and examined the role of firearms in Canadian homicides. Following this, Angelika completed her Master of Public Health at the University of Waterloo, with a particular focus on quantitative methods. At the CSSLRV, she works on various research projects relating to intimate partner homicide and femicide, including the Canadian Domestic Homicide Prevention Initiative with Vulnerable Populations, the Canadian Geography of Justice Initiative, and the Canadian Femicide Observatory for Justice and Accountability. Angelika also serves as the Digital Manager for the UN Studies Association’s Global Femi(ni)cide Watch Platform.
